AccepDance is a gentle, trauma-informed somatic movement practice rooted in the belief that dance is our birthright. We don’t learn how to dance here- but we create the conditions for our authentic movement to emerge from the inside out. Through breath, sound, rhythm, and movement, we soften the inner critic and build a sense of safe enough; enough support to take risks, get curious, and explore how we want to move and be moved. We learn to stay in connection when feeling pulled to perform or fit in, and experience the joy of belonging in simply being who we are. AccepDance is not just a practice of finding our movement, but a practice of inhabiting ourselves more fully- a practice of being, not performing.
